Tiki Taka Toe — Football Tic-Tac-Toe
La vieja, but with legends: each square crosses a row and a column — an era, a position or an attribute. Name a Copero legend who fits both to claim it. Three in a row wins.

How Tiki Taka Toe works
Tiki Taka Toe turns the classic game of tic-tac-toe — “la vieja” in Argentina — into a football trivia duel. The 3×3 grid has a criterion on every row and every column: an era like the 1990s, a position like Striker or Centre-back, or an attribute badge like Pace 88+ or 4-star skills. To claim a square you must name a legend from the 130-strong Copero pool who satisfies BOTH the row and the column of that square, and no legend can be used twice on the same board.
Get three squares in a row — horizontally, vertically or diagonally — and you win. Fill the whole board without a line and it ends in a draw: la vieja. Every grid is generated fresh and checked so there is always a valid answer in each square, which means the challenge is your football knowledge, never a broken board.
Play the CPU or a friend
By default you play against the CPU, which claims squares with its own legends between your turns — so you have to move fast and grab the intersections you know before it does. Switch off “vs CPU” and it becomes pass-and-play: two people share one screen, taking turns as X and O, perfect for settling who really knows their football history.
If you name a legend who does not fit the square, your turn passes without claiming it — so a wild guess can hand the opponent the initiative. It rewards knowing eras, positions and standout attributes, exactly the same knowledge the main Copero career game is built on.
Tiki Taka Toe, la vieja and the Dibu craze
Football grid games and “la vieja” puzzles blew up alongside the viral penalty memes, and Tiki Taka Toe brings that grid format to the Copero universe of legends. It is a quick, replayable brain-teaser you can finish in a minute, share with a friend and immediately play again with a brand-new grid.
Because it draws on the same legend dataset as the Copero career simulator, the names you learn here — the great strikers of the 2000s, the ball-playing defenders of the 1990s — are the very legends you will want to steal attributes from when you build your own player. Two games, one universe of football legends.
