Live a full career, season after season
Copero is not a single match or a five-minute mini-game: it is a complete career simulator that begins the moment you create your footballer and only ends when you decide to hang up your boots. You pick a name, number, nationality, preferred foot and position, and from there the career mode inside Copero runs season by season, showing goals, assists, league finishes, domestic and continental trophies, World Cups and international caps. Every campaign feels different because your form, your age and your choices reshape everything that comes next.
The beauty of Copero is that nothing is scripted. One year you fight relegation and the next, if your rating climbs, offers from big clubs land on the table. The simulator respects the logic of real football: the peak arrives around 26 to 32, then the decline sets in, and from about 35 Copero puts the choice in your hands, retire or play on. Living that whole arc, from raw prospect to the veteran waving goodbye, is what makes a Copero career so hard to put down.
The legend draft: steal one attribute, pay a price
The heart of Copero is the draft. Eight real football legends appear one at a time, and from each you steal exactly ONE attribute: pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, physicality, skill moves or weak foot. You never take the whole legend, only a single strength, and that is the delicious catch of the Copero draft: every steal is a trade-off, because what you take from one is what you give up taking from another.
This is how you build a hybrid card that never existed: the pace of a winger, the passing of a classic playmaker, the physicality of a centre-back. In Copero no combination is free, and that is where the replay value lives. A draft built for a clinical striker will not perform the same for a number ten, which is why every Copero run starts with a chain of decisions that shape everything the simulator builds on top for fifteen or twenty seasons.
Transfers and the strength of each league
After the draft you pick one of three academy clubs, and the climb begins. In Copero league strength genuinely matters: a goal in a weak division counts for less than one in a top league, and the biggest trophies demand strong squads around you. That is why transfer offers are more than money, they are a strategic read: do you stay the star of a small side or make the jump to a league where every goal weighs more on your legacy?
The Copero simulator works all of this out behind the scenes. Performing in a strong league accelerates your reputation and opens the door to continental competitions and the national team. Handling your transfers well is as important as finishing chances, because in Copero it is context that decides how far your talent goes. A star at the wrong club stalls; the same star at the right club ends up lifting the cup that earns the highest verdict.
Rating, potential and the final verdict
In Copero the rating is position-weighted: a striker is judged on goals, a centre-back on solidity, which stops everyone being measured the same way. Potential marks your ceiling, the number you decide whether or not to reach, and the peak lands in that 26-to-32 window before the decline starts eating into your attributes. Everything you do season after season feeds a legacy score that Copero quietly keeps.
When you retire, that legacy produces a verdict: Copero places you up to the rarest title you managed to win and hands you a shareable card. Bowing out as the top scorer of a minor league is not the same as retiring a world champion, and the Copero verdict spells that out plainly. That card is the honest summary of every decision you made, from the very first steal in the draft to your last transfer.
Classic mode versus Purist mode
Copero is played two ways. In Classic mode you see the numbers during the draft and get one blind reroll to spin an attribute again if it does not convince you, so you can optimise your card with information in hand. It is the ideal entry point for understanding how the simulator weights each stat before you risk something tougher.
Purist mode hides the numbers and forces you to steal on instinct, reading the legend rather than the stat sheet. No reroll, no safety net: every choice in Copero is final, and that makes the career far tenser and more personal. Many players start in Classic to learn the ropes and then move to Purist to truly feel the weight of every decision Copero puts in front of them.
Tips for your first career
Before you start, decide what kind of player you want to be and build the draft around that idea: in Copero a striker needs shooting and physicality, while a winger lives on pace and dribbling. Do not scatter your steals at random, because the simulator rewards coherent cards over ones with a little of everything. And do not underrate weak foot or skill moves if your style calls for them.
On the career side, choose your academy with the league in mind and not just the crest, and accept transfers that add to your legacy, not only your wallet. Make the most of the 26-to-32 peak to chase the big trophies, because the decline afterwards shrinks your margin. Play your first Copero run in Classic to read the numbers, and once it clicks, dive into Purist: that is where Copero becomes unforgettable.
